Easy recipes from scratch that your family will love
I like to prioritize healthy, whole food ingredients in my recipes. Here you will find recipes that often substitute maple syrup or honey for regular white sugar, use fresh milled flour on occasion, and keep a nice balance of nutrition and flavor.

No-bake Peanut Butter Granola bars
Ingredients
Equipment
Method
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside. You can also use an 8×8 square pan if that's what you have, the shape of the bars will just be a little different.
- In a bowl, combine peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract
- In a separate bowl, or the same bowl if you prefer, combine rolled oats, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, cinnamon, and chocolate chips
- Add the dry ingredients into the bowl of peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract and mix until combined
- Once combined, transfer to the prepared pan. Using a spoon or spatula, press the granola batter into place and prepare the chocolate topping
- After adding your chocolate, cover with foil or plastic wrap and place in the fridge until the chocolate has set, about 30 minutes. You can also place it in the freezer for less time
- Once the chocolate has set, use the parchment paper to take them, out of the dish, cut into your desired amount of pieces, and enjoy!
For the Chocolate topping
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together either on the stove or in the microwave
- Once melted, you can either pour the melted chocolate on the top of the bars and smooth out with a spoon, or lightly drizzle the chocolate over the bars
